STORY MAGIC | Breathwork + Writing Workshop at The Starhouse

Join professional writer, Jessie Lucier, and breathwork teacher, Mackensey Smith, for an afternoon of guided breathwork and inspired writing in the sacred space of the Starhouse. 

Whether you’re working on a memoir, or have never written a page, our world needs more open-hearted, courageous people sharing their stories. 

Breathwork + writing creates conditions to access our most creative flow state. Explore narrative healing and connect to the magic and medicine of the breath and unhindered expression, unearthing a story—perhaps a new story—that’s ready to move from feeling into form.

What to expect:

• Grounding practice and intention setting to connect with the land and each other.
• Brief teaching on trusting your voice and the purpose, power and healing potential of story.
• Breathwork and meditation designed to help to unlock and inspire. 
• Uninterrupted free-write to deep dive into magic and medicine.
• Opportunity to share and workshop with the group.

We’re feeling a lot of excitement about this collaboration, and look forward to a sweet and soulful afternoon at the Starhouse to breathe, write, create and connect in community! 

Sound, essential oils, energy healing and sacred circle work are incorporated into this unique healing class. No experience is  necessary. :)

Save the confirmation email that you’ll receive following registration. It includes important location, parking and arrival details.

Dress comfortably and bring a blanket, water bottle, and anything else needed to feel comfortable while lying down for the Breathwork journey. You will also need a journal and pen for the writing portion of the workshop. If weather permits, there will be an invitation to move outside to write. Bring anything needed to comfortably write outside, if this option appeals to you. Yoga mats, backjacks and other indoor props provided by the Starhouse.
